One of the biggest labels in K-pop debuted their new all-star dance group SM the Performance today.
SM Entertainment’s sub-unit is comprised of representative members of existing SM boy bands: TVXQ’s Yunho, Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk, SHINee’s Minho and Taemin, EXO-K’s Kai and EXO-M’s Lay.
Their performance at today’s 2012 SBS Gayo Daejun wowed fans, who couldn’t get enough of the flashy visuals and jaw-dropping choreography of their debut stage.
The first single, “Spectrum”, borrows the same tune and lyrics of dubstep producer DJ Zedd‘s song of the same name.
An SM rep says the song’s complex dance routines were produced by NappyTabs, the team behind the moves for BoA‘s “Only One” and TVXQ’s “Humanoids”.
The digital-only single is available for download on December 30.
