Yoon Si Yoon and Shin Hye Park showed off their flirty sides in a new photo shoot to promote Flower Boy Next Door.
The actors happily hugged and held hands while modelling winter knitwear trends for an InStyle Korea fashion spread, which hits stands today.
And the pair only had good things to say when they spoke about working together on set. “It’s not an exaggeration when you say that I chose this role because I heard Park Shin Hye was doing it,” says 26-year-old Yoon, who on the day of the shoot chivalrously gave the biggest dressing room to his co-star. “She’s the queen of romance comedies. She’s very free-spirited in front of the camera.”
Adds Park, 22: “He’s always reading or studying something. That’s why I like his very natural acting without fluff. It’s always comforting to know that he comes prepared after much studying.”
Of the new show, she says: “These days… we don’t even know who lives next door, so I feel that this drama is very special because it makes us look at the world with warm eyes and the believe that good people live next door to us.”
Yoon admits to struggling with certain roles in the past, but says it all came together perfectly for the new drama: “At times, it was hard to digest all the nutritious factors [of a role]. But this time around, it feels like a healthy and filling breakfast prepared by a nutritionist. I always worried about how I was going to digest everything, but this time, I’m very comfortable and feeling good.”
Flower Boy Next Door premieres January 7 on TVn.
