Teen actor Yoo Seung Ho has announced his plans to take a break from showbiz and start military service early next year.
It’s not yet known which role Yoo will take, but In South Korea enlistment typically lasts from 21 to 36 months. Under current conscription law, national service is mandatory for all men between 18 and 35.
The 19-year-old first shot to fame at the age of seven when appearing in TV drama Daddy Fish, and has since become a household name.
Currently Yoo can be seen in popular series I Miss You on MBC, playing the evil psychopath Harry Borrison.
“He will take a break after filming before joining [the military],” a spokesperson adds.
