SHINee fans rejoice — the wait is over! Taemin officially released his debut solo album at midnight in Korea today.
Teaming dropped the cameo-packed, “Press It” and title track music video, “Press Your Number,” just minutes apart, sending the internet into a frenzy.
The solo return of the 22-year-old boy band sensation is to be met with eager anticipation as fans have been itching to hear the efforts of not only their idol singer, but the collaborative work of many hit producers hailing from both in and out of Korea.
The title track, for instance, is an urban pop dance number produced by four-time-Grammy-award-winning American musician Bruno Mars.
Teddy Riley, The Stereotypes, LDN Noise, and SHINee’s Jonghyun are among the many names that are to cameo on this album, and Taemin himself is also credited as writing some of the lyrics.
Taemin fans are already wetting their tastebuds as SM Entertainment earlier toady revealed short previews of seven tracks from the album in a video titled The 1st Album “Press It’_Highlight Medley Ver.1,” as well as a performance video of R&B track “Drip Drop.”
