According to business reports, the singer and actress has become the “Queen of Commercials”, with over $9 million dollars (USD) in revenue. At present, she has more modeling contracts and commercial deals that any other South Korean female celebrity.
And proving that she has the brains and beauty, Suzy flaunts her curves in the May issue of Cosmopolitan Korea, modelling Swarovski jewerly in cut-off denim shorts.
Says a Cosmopolitan rep: “Suzy has numerous titles including the ‘nation’s little sister’, ‘nation’s first love’ and ‘CF [commercial film] queen’. [During the shoot] she showcased all the styles and Swarovski accessories perfectly. She earned the staff’s approval.”
Adds a source: “Because of her high demand, she can now command around half a million dollars per endorsement.”
The idol’s ability to manage both sexy and cute images has led her to become the face of 22 different campaigns. The current list includes: The Korean Tourism Organization, Swarovski, The Face Shop, Vita500, Bean Pole Outdoor, Post Office Bank, Domino’s Pizza, Demark Yogurt, Smart School Uniform, TN, Caribbean Bay, Roem, Sumi Chip, Canon, Lolita Lempicka, Sudden Attack, Nintendo, Reebok,Tagatose, Xylose, On the Body and Galaxy Pop.
