Super Junior held a press conference today, September 11, for the launch of their new travel book and entertained photographers and fans as they hugged each other in celebration of the title’s release.
Members Shindong, Donghae, Kangin, Ryeowook, Sungmin, and Eunhyuk were present at the Rest Tree Cafe press conference in Seoul’s Times Square Mall for the group’s travel guide, Super Junior’s Experience Korea. The boys donned slick black suits and gave each other celebratory embraces before taking their seats to answer questions.
During the conference, the band revealed how bandmate Heechul — who recently completed two years of mandatory Korean military service — didn’t even know the group were releasing a book.
Eunhyuk, 27, explained: “We don’t usually tell the other members our schedules.” Added Ryeowook, 26, “I had to hide and lie about the book when I bumped Heechul — even on the way to the press conference!”
The band was also asked what they learned about each other whilst putting together the Korean travel book. “I’m a picky eater, so the staff took extra care of me when it came to food,” Eunhyuk explained. ”Shindong eats a lot. But through these trips I found that there’s also a lot of food that he can’t eat too.”

“I eat seafood well, but not when it’s raw,” explained Shindong, 27. “I don’t eat sashimi, but I eat fish katsu or grilled Spanish mackerel. I can’t eat things like fish stew.”
Super Junior’s Experience Korea follows all ten members’ travels around South Korea. Each member chose their destinations, heading to provinces such as Gangwon, Jeolla, Jeju island, Gyeonggi and, of course, Seoul.
