Henry of Super Junior-M today released his first music video. And he’s brought in some famous SM Entertainment labelmates, too – Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and SHINee’s Taemin.
The 23-year-old Taiwanese-Hong Kong/Canadian singer makes his solo debut in the video for “Trap”, playing a tortured soul trapped in his love for a girl.
The promotional clip starts with Henry in black and white piano-playing solitude but quickly switches to a more edgy hip-hop setting.
“I’m stuck”, “I’m exhausted” and “I want to forget you” are just some of the emotional lyrics sung by the superstar. And the vocal support from Kyuhyun and Taemin brings superb synergy to the performance.

“Trap” was initially scheduled for release on Wednesday June 5, but agency SM Entertainment announced on the day that it would be delayed in order to “achieve a higher quality on the music video. The agency also announced on June 6, “Henry will perform Trap with Kyuhyun from Super Junior and Taemin from SHINee at KBS Music Bank!”
