Naughty! Supreme Team rapper Simon D has been forced to apologise for flirting with Girls’ Generation’s Sunny an using inappropriate language on her own radio show.
The 30-year-old hip-hop artist was a guest on Sunny’s MBC radio show, Sunny’s FM Date, however after the Wednesday, June 11, show aired, he was accused of using inappropriate comments and language deemed too mature for the show’s young audience.
During a relationship segment on whether love can only be expressed through the heart, Simon D commented, “[It’s] also a type of skill. Using the body is also… Is this too R-rated? Using the body is also a kind of technique… I have a really good technique.”
Although Sunny, 25, tried to change the subject, Simon interrupted her attempts, “Teens already know everything they need to know… Why did you invite me as a guest if you were going to tell me to turn it down?”
Later in the show he flirtatiously joked with Sunny. “I am here to hit on you,” he laughed. “I am here to date.” Producers reportedly reminded him numerous times throughout the broadcast to stop using informal speech and keep content family friendly.
Today, Simon — who also hinted at being drunk during the interview — turned to Twitter to apologize: “I sincerely apologize for my bad attitude on Sunny’s FM Date yesterday. I was not drunk. Instead I was a little too comfortable so I apologize for my faults. From now on, I will engage in broadcasts politely and humbly. I’m sorry.”

Sunny also addressed the drama during a press conference for her role in musical, Singin’ in the Rain. “It has only been a month since I’ve been on the radio so I think my incompetence is to blame,” she told reporters in Seoul. “From now on, I will work harder so that no matter what guest comes in, I will make it so that people can listen without discomfort.”
