Jonghyun may no longer be with SHINee, but members Key, Taemin, Minho and Onew made sure he was front and center while on stage in Japan.
During a February 17 performance of their SHINee World The Best show at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, the group dedicated a fifth microphone to their late bandmate.
Each member wore a rose pinned to their shirt and had a rose in the fifth mic stand for Jonghyun as they struggled to hold back the tears during a heart-wrenching performance.
Minho told fans in the audience, “To be honest, I was very afraid today. But I was able to overcome it because I wasn’t alone but with you guys. I will continue to happily promote, thinking that five of us are on stage together. I ask that you guys remember Jonghyun forever. He’s a precious existence that cannot be described in words.”
Key simply added, “I love you” as he looked up to the sky above.

Ending #KyoceraDomeDay2 with this painfully beautiful song. Like yesterday, the center mic was left for our Jjong and his voice harmonized with Jinki, Kibum, Minho, and Taemin. And yes, we will always have you in our hearts. SHINee is always FIVE. #SHINeeWORLDTHEBEST2018 #SHINee pic.twitter.com/HeS8U8fvl6
