It’s going to be a sad November for Super Junior fans. Shindong has finally announced his military enlistment date — and it’s THIS month.
After delaying his departure for most of 2014, the 29-year-old boy band singer had decided to commence his 21-month mandatory army duty on Tuesday, November 25.
The lovable idol star has already started to wind down his group activities, pulling out of Super Junior’s Super Show 6 performance in Tokyo at in October and SM Entertainment now confirm that he will miss the band’s Hong Kong concert on Saturday, November 8.

Shin Dong’s enlistment marks him as the fifth band member to enter military service, with bandmate Yesung preceding him and scheduled to be discharged in May 2015. The band’s frontman Leetuek completed his military obligations and returned to the band in July.
