Despite it being over 10 years since their 2007 debut, there have been few rumours about fights between Girls’ Generation members.
But Seohyun has lifted the lid on the group’s five years living together while in the same dormitory and says they actually used to bicker a lot!
Speaking to members of the press at a cafe in Gangnam, Seoul, the “Don’t Say No” singer candidly opened up while promoting her forthcoming solo career.
“We fought a lot over trivial things,” she said at the November 21 gathering. “I think we fought as much as married couples did, over little things that didn’t really matter.”
“However, [because of that] we were able to learn more about one another and matured as we journeyed together.”
She went on to describe the members as sisters, describing, “After being together for 15 years, I just know how we’re all doing without necessarily contacting one another.”
Seohyun also opened up about her forthcoming solo career, her first music since leaving SM Entertainment. “It’s not that I feel necessarily afraid of standing alone, I feel a greater sense of responsibility,” she admitted. “Both nervousness and anxiety coexist. I don’t have any regrets though.”
