Pucker up! Big Bang’s Seungri has just filmed his first ever kiss scene on television, getting close with a female co-star on a new Japanese drama, A Message Sent to You.
A still from the romantic series — which will be available exclusively on demand in Japan — shows the 22-year-old Big Bang sweetheart on his knees leaning in to kiss idol singer and actress Miori Takimoto as she sits across him.
The singer commented that he was extremely nervous due to it being his first kiss scene, but was relieved to be approved for the takes surprisingly quickly.
“I brushed my teeth three times before the shoot,” he says. “My heart was racing during the entire filming.”
The mini-drama follows the story of timid young singles who use mobile messaging to express their love as they are too shy to communicate their feelings directly.
Seungri — who is known as V.I in Japan — plays the role of a Korean student who cannot forget his first love and gets help from his homestay host (played by 22-year-old Takimoto) to communicate with his girlfriend via text messages in Japanese. In the process, the pair fall for each other instead.
