The fringe has gone!
Se7en marked one of his final moments in the spotlight before starting military service with a new photo shoot – and hair cut.
The 28-year-old singer revealed his new army-ready look in a pictorial with high-end fashion publication L’Officiel Hommes Korea.
Dressed in a simple white tee and revealing just a little bit of his left arm tattoo to the camera, Se7en revealed that he actually decided to cut his hair on the day of the shoot.
“I just felt like it was something I should capture,” he says of the edgy pictorial. “I wanted to show the change that I am going through [before enlisting].”
Adds a set source: “On the day he just asked for clippers and wanted to shave his hair off. It was a big moment for him.”
Tomorrow will see Se7en, who debuted in March 2003, take a long break from the showbiz industry to carry out his military service, which is mandatory to all South Korean native men.
He will enter Uijoungbu 306 Reserve Battalion under his real name, Choi Dong-Wook, and serve 21 months of duty.
