It’s going to be a tough goodbye when Se7en leaves for mandatory South Korean military service next year. But the 28-year-old is making it a little bit easier for fans to see him off – with a series of concerts across Asia.
The singer, 28, announced today that he will hold concerts in Korea and Japan.
On February 7 and 8, he will be in Tokyo and February 16 and 17 in Kobe. There will be fan meetings for each date, though details will be released at a later time. Dates in Korea have yet to be announced.
A YG rep says: “These are limited dates so the tickets are sure to sell out fast. There’s already a lot of interest and excitement from fans.”
Se7en, who debuted in 2003, will say a final goodbye to his fans, friends and family next summer when he begins his military service.
He will also be bid a temporary farewell to actress girlfriend Park Han Byol, 28, who recently spoke of the couple marrying. “Marriage will come after [the military],” she has said. “It will be difficult but I won’t let myself be sad and just say to him, ‘Okay, see you when you get back’. I may worry about him, but since it’s mandatory, it is better to just send him off with a light heart.”
