Milo from K-pop group Romeo has been caught sexually propositioning an underage fan in Japan.
The 21-year-old singer’s agency today confirmed that Milo’s “unsavoury” actions have resulted in him taking time out to reflect on his actions. It’s not yet known if the authorities are involved.
It was earlier this week alleged Kakao messages between Milo and the underage fan were leaked online, where he could clearly be seen suggesting they stay in a hotel room together as well as calling her “cute” and “sexy”.
A rep at CT Entertainment says, “We sincerely apologize that the recent unsavory events have caused fans worry. Milo is currently deeply reflecting on his immature actions as a public figure, and he’ll be taking time to himself. We’ll do our best to prevent any unsavory events in the future.”
What’s most worrying is the legal age of consent in Japan and Korea is 13, although there are laws in place to protect those under 18, too. The age of the fan is unknown.
