Update (June 25, 10am EDT): A spokesperson for the group at JYP Entertainment says the group have set a comeback date of August 3. Park Jin Young has written their new single.
(June 24, 8pm EDT) First they were rumoured to be reuniting for a comeback, then it was denied, and now JYP Entertainment are finally confirming that the Wonder Girls will be returning to the charts.
A spokesperson for the group confirmed their return to Korea's OSEN outlet -- even announcing that they have already filmed a new music video!
As expected, Yubin, Yenny, Hyelim and Sunmi -- who has finished her studies -- will come back as a four piece instead of five. Sunye left the group after getting married and moving to Canada to start a family in 2013.
Says the rep, "Wonder Girls completed the music video filming for their new song, which took place all over Namyangju city in Gyeonggi Province."
"The plan is for the group to participate in comeback activities as a four-member group. I think they will make a comeback after July."
And they may be returning with instruments! The spokesperson adds, "They have been busy practicing playing instruments for considerable time."
