After years out of the spot light, K-pop's most iconic girl group the Wonder Girls are back with their comeback single, "I Feel You."
The video was released at exactly 12pm KST on August 4 in Korea (11pm EDT, August 3) ahead of their live third album comeback showcase later today.
"I Feel You" was written by JYP Entertainment supremo and the girls' manager, Park Jin Young, and is a delicious throwback to the 80s with its heavy use of synthesiser and electronic drums as the girls breathlessly since the sweet chorus. (Fact: Park composed the track in just three hours!).
Yenny (keyboard), Yubin (drums), Sunmi (bass) and Hyerim (guitar) look sensational in body-hugging swimsuit-style outfits as they take to their chosen instruments, a first for the group since their debut in 2007.
In the video, numerous touches have been added to give it an authentic 80s feel, including use of VHS-style filming, a retro MTV logo (rebranded as WTV, naturally), neon staging and even old school choreography.
The single is taken from the group's self-produced new album "Reboot," which was release simultaneously via all digital platforms, including iTunes. (Click here for a preview).
