3.9, 3.8 and 3.1 percent. These, unfortunately, the last three Saturday night prime time viewing ratings reported for MBC’s We Got Married.
The show’s viewership has hit an all time low and sources reveal that show execs are now in "panic mode" about the future of the virtual marriage reality series, which is currently in it’s fourth season.
An MBC insider reveals, "Dramatic changes have to be made to save the show. The numbers keep falling and if they don't go up, it could spell the end of the show." (A rep for We Got Married had no comment).
At the center of the show’s spiraling downfall is ex-Jewelry member Yewon, whose bickering scandal with actress Lee Tae Im earlier in March reportedly delivered a devastating blow to her general popularity and resulted in a drop in ratings which were originally at a solid five percent but now are in the three percent range immediately following the scandal.
Yewon, 25, featured in the show with Super Junior M’s Henry Lau are both now stepping down from the show to make way for a new couple.
Another blow for the once super popular MBC show, happened when actress Kim So Eun, who was paired up with actor Song Jae Rim, became involved in off-screen relationship rumors with actor Son Ho Jun. Viewers became unconvinced with the virtual relationship on show and eventually producers decided to drop both Kim and Song.

On June 20 the show will bring in two new couples, actor Oh Min Suk and actress Kang Ye Won, and BtoB’s Yook Sungjae with Red Velvet’s Joy, in an effort to revive the poor ratings.
