Halloween may have been and gone, but VIXX are still out for scares. The boy band have released a gory adult-rated music video for their new single "Voodoo Doll" -- and some of the scenes are hard to stomach.

VIDEO: VIXX Travel to Space, Get Shirtless For "On and On" Single

The dark video shocks with close-up scenes of a blade cutting through bare skin, a wound being stapled, a torso hanging from hooks pierced in to flesh, and the cutting of what looks like a human brain.

"Voodoo Doll" is a far cry from the bright and colourful scenes Vixx are known for. Each member is shown being tortured in some way by a mysterious lead actress, who is holding a voodoo doll and doing her worst to the group.

"We wanted to try something different," lead singer N, 23, says of the video, which has been granted an over 19 rating in Korea. "Although it may be disturbing in parts, we feel it carries the lyrics of the single perfectly and hope people can experience different emotions when they watch."
