July 16, 2015 at 11:00 am EDT

Calling it quits? Identical twins Tasty have left their agency Woollim Entertainment -- and Korea.

Daeryong and Soryong uploaded a message on their Weibo account last night, July 15, announcing, "We inform you that the eight years of our activities in Korea has come to and end. There were many things we could not negotiate with our agency and this is a decision we have arrived at after long and careful consideration."

When asked for comment, Woollim Entertainment responded to their client’s post with major shock and surprise, explaining, “As Tasty’s agency we became aware of their decision to terminate their activities in Korea from their message on Weibo."

"Tasty completed new recordings for their Korea-China comeback in June, but we have now confirmed that both Daeryong and Soryong have left for China without notice. They have also ceased communications with the agency."

The agency added that they are not yet contemplating worst case scenarios with the band of brothers and are holding on to hopes that they will be back in touch.
