Last year she proved herself as a solo artist, so it comes as no surprise that Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon has dominated every major chart in Korea with her new solo single "Rain."
Released at midnight, as the first featured artist track of SM Entertainment’s new weekly single project SM Station, the 26-year-old SNSD star took pole position on eight different music charts in Korea consisting of MelOn, Genie, Naver Music, Olleh Music, Mnet, Bugs, Soribada and Monkey3.
“Rain” is a jazz-influenced piece that displays Taeyeon’s sensual vocal skills at their best as she explores the remnant sentiments of a past relationship while comparing it to the rain.
The girl group songstress -- who split from EXO boyfriend Baekhyun last September -- sports an adorable lavender-tinted bob throughout the video, while flaunting her toned thighs and lean figure in an array of sweet outfits.

Meanwhile, having officially launched with Taeyeon, SM Station will continue to release new tracks every Friday starting from February 19, created through a collaboration of SM artists, producers, and composers, as well as artists from other agencies.
