Rapper and producer Tablo's battle against the group of online anti-fans who tried to destroy his life has finally come to an end.
In October, after two rejected appeals, nine members of the 'TaJinYo" group, were charged with defmataion and sentenced to jail by the Seoul District Court. Three members received sentences of 10 months in jail and six, including a Mr. Kim, with eight months in jail with a two year probation.
However, not happy with the decision, Kim continued his attempts to appeal his outcome of the trial.
Today, the Seoul District Court denied his final appeal, and issued him with the same sentence as before.
A justice department official confirms: "Appeals for unjust sentences can only be filed in cases with death sentences, life sentences or jail sentences over 10 years. In this incident, where a lighter sentence was given, such an appeal cannot be filed."
The decision ends a long, three-year battle for Epik High's Tablo, 32, who was repeatedly accused by the "TaJinYo" group (a Korean acronym that stood for 'We demand the truth from Tablo') for lying about his degrees from Stanford University.
