He's the last person you would imagine getting stage fright but Big Bang's T.O.P succumbed to his nerves in just that way.
On June 6 the fantastic five that is Big Bang appeared on KBS2's live music show Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook and performed their latest new hit "BAE BAE."
Following the performance the host asked the group what each member was good at and T.O.P — who rarely steps out of his rapping comfort zone -- was revealed to be a good singer!
Seungri revealed, "He is really good at singing." Taeyang added, "When he sings the tone of his voice is a lot like Jeon In Kwon."
After his bandmates praised his singing skills, the 27-year-old "Bang Bang Bang" star was put on the spotlight to give a performance of "Only That is My World" by band Deulgukhwa.
But seconds into the song T.O.P breaks down and nerves get the better of him as stage fright runs its relentless course on one of the biggest stars in K-pop! Bandmate Taeyang tries to assist but to no avail as the superstar rapper muffles his voice and hides his face under his hat in shame.
When host Yoo Hee Yeol addresses him on the stage fright, T.O.P says, "I really did want to sing obviously because you were playing for me, but today I am more nervous than I was during our first debut performance," and revealed his sweat-drenched face. "Rappers get shy about singing."
The idol added, "I think this is the first time I've trembled as badly as this."
