T-ara N4 have taken it to the west side. The unit group celebrated the Memorial Day weekend with some of America's biggest names in urban music.
The idols mingled with singer Chris Brown and rapper Wiz Khalifa, 25, at the Palms Casino Resort on Sunday May 26.
Group members Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon and Areum, who were joined by Khalifa's fiancee Amber Rose, posed up in a variety of photos at the Memorial Day festival event. After taking the cute snaps, the girls performed a new version of their latest single "Countryside Life", remixed by Jay-Z producer, Knotch.
However, the event was hampered by technical hitches (and a somewhat confused crowd), leading to a performance far from the group's usual high standards.
"We are embarrassed," a Core Contents Media rep says in a statement today. "[We] believe there was a miscommunication because the concept of the concert was different. We were told T-ara N4 would be the opening act, but the setting was different because it was a festival. Brown did introduce them before their second set."
As for rumors the group are recording with Brown, 24, the rep adds: "It was planned in advanced and we discussed the details on recording 'Countryside Life' with Chris Brown but it has not happened yet. After the producing team arrives tomorrow we will probably be able to understand more of what happened."
Still, there is hope. T-ara N4 will join the "Fine China" singer at the BET Awards at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on June 30.
