Congratulations! After denying rumors of a relationship with musical actress Kim Sa Eun, Super Junior's Lee Sungmin has finally come clean and confirmed they are an item… getting married in December!
On the pop group's official homepage today, October 14, the 28-year-old singer announced the news while apologizing in a letter to fans. He wrote, "Everyone, I'm getting married on December 13. It saddens me to think about all the fans who must have been alarmed by the news. I wanted to break the news to you personally, but while I was thinking about how I should tell my good friends and loving E.L.F, the news reporters beat me to it and I apologize dearly for that.”
On his own blog, Sungmin also wrote “I’ve met a really good person and will be marrying this December 13.”
With the announcement out of the way, SM Entertainment later tweeted a congratulatory message to its SuJu star saying, "Sungmin~ Congratulations on the wedding! Wishing you happiness and blessings in your future. Love you. –the whole SM Entertainment family." The agency also assured fans, "Nothing will change because Sungmin is getting married. Super Junior's activities will continue as planned."
