Super Junior landed in Brazil ahead of their Super Show 5 concert last night and flexed their phalnthropic muslces by donating 2,000 custom-made T-shirts to the Brazillian Red Cross Society and the Sao Paulo state government.
The Hallyu Wave kings arrived at Sao Paulo Guarulhos Airport on the morning of April 20, and were greeted by over 500 eager South American fans waving banners, flags and greetings written in Korean. To accomodate their huge fanbase, the airport had put ten times the usual number of security personnel on shift as they assisted Siwon, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, Shindong, Kangin, Yesung, Sungmin and Kyuhyun out of the airport and to their suites at the city's Grand Hyatt hotel.
Despite having to prepare for their performances, the entire group showed up to a CSR (corporate social responsibility) event hosted by KOTRA (Korean Trade & Investment Promotion Agency) to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Korean immigration to Brazil, at the Sao Paulo Renaissance Hotel. The group donated over 2,000 custom-made T-shirts shirts to the Brazillian Red Cross Society and the Sao Paulo state government, voicing their compassion for the disadvantaged classes of Brazil.
Super Junior, opened Super Show 5 at a sold out Creditcard Hall in the city on April 21 with their stunning two hour extravaganza. Next stop: Buenos Aires on April 23.
