As the race to their comeback heats up, SHINee have released a brand new preview track from their forthcoming album. And proving how serious they are about their chart return next week, band member Key has announced he will be dropping out of his role in musical Bonnie & Clyde.

Management group SM Entertainment made the surprise decision to pull the 22-year-old Key from the musical due to schedule clashes with SHINee's October 10 comeback performance on M Countdown -- the same evening as the musical's premiere.

A spokesman says: "We sincerely apologize for unintentionally having caused an inconvenience. We ask for your generous understanding for the sake of SHINee's vigorous activities."

Key's performance as Clyde in the show has been pushed back to October 25 and ticket holders offered refunds. Um Ki Joon, Han Ji Sang, and ZE:A's Hyungsik will also be playing the shared role during the show's run.
