Goodbye, friends!

Shindong and Kim Shin Young, the longtime MCs of MBC Music's Show Champion, have announced they are leavnig the show for good.

A spokesman for the weekly music show says that because of the switch to a Wednesday night live format, the co-hosts won't be able to coninute.

"It worked for them on a Tuesday pre-record, but going live on a Wednesday has caused some conflicts in scheduling," says the rep.

The Super Junior star and comedian, who took on hosting duties last February, will film their last show later this month, before new presenters are unveiled on it's first live show on January 30.

Adds the rep: "Many felt the show's current pre-recorde format felt less timely, which is why we're making the switch to live."

It had previously been speculated that Kim, who hosts four other shows including Infinity Girls 3, would be leaving the show after being treated for exhaustion in December, however her publicist denies such claims.

"We work well together, Shindong has said of their time on Show Champion. "We make each other laugh and have a good chemistry... but no romance!"
