She was once a Girls' Generation trainee, but Lee Hwan Hee is ready for her time in spotlight.
The 23-year-old, who's nickname is Fwaney, released her new single "Monroe's Heel" today, and the sophisticated clip showcases a new look and sound for the singer.
The independent woman lyrics and sexy choreography show just how far Lee has come since her innocent debut last year.
"I'd like people to see that I have grown up," she told reporters at a Seoul showcase (pictured) on January 15. "Monroe's Heel is a great anthem for the modern woman.
"I hope that people can enjoy the song and it will make you want to dance."
Although it's been some years since her trainee days at SM Entertainment, she has famously remained close to Girls' Generation's Seohyun.
"I never thought we would be on different teams," Seohyun said in a recent interview. "I was more sad about her being cut than happy about me being picked as a member of Girls' Generation."
Lee's 2nd single album, which was announced last week, is available to download today.
