Over and out! Se7en is finally finished with his mandatory military service.

The 30-year-old singer was discharged from his 21-month Korean military service duties at an official ceremony on Sunday, December 27, at the 8th Infantry Division in Pocheon, Gyeonggi.

The R&B star's discharge date comes 10 days later than initially scheduled after a series of controversies landed him in military prison, including a June incident that saw Se7en visit a late-night massage parlor.

The idol singer faced hundreds of fans and reporters yesterday and took the opportunity to apologize for the incidents.

"I’m truly sorry," he said, bowing down to photographers. "At the time of the incident I was in the division and was not able to say a word."

He added, "I am repenting over my mistakes. There were things surrounding the incident that were reported incorrectly. These were particularly difficult. However, I do believe it all stems from my errors."

Following the scandal, Se7en also split with girlfriend of 12 years, actress Park Han Byul, although a spokesperson for the actress says they still speak.

Reps for the singer say he will take a short break before focusing on a music comeback in 2015.
