Félicitations PSY!

"Gangnam Style" took over the red carpet at France's NRJ Music Awards last night (January 26), when the 35-year-old rapper horse-danced past the likes of Alicia Keys and Taylor Swift as he entered the Cannes event.

And he had every reason to be happy - "Gangnam Style" was awarded with International Song of the Year, Clip of the Year and the NRJ Music Honors Award at the prestigious ceremony, which took place at the Palais des Festivals.

"This is amazing," he told reporters at the event. "I love France, I love the fans here. This is just... I'm speechless!"

After winning, he shared a moment backstage with boy band One Direction, sources tell IdolWow!.

"The boys were all getting him to teach them how to do the Gangnam Style dance," says an onlooker. "PSY was happy to pose for pictures with them all and they had great fun.

"After he walked off, [band members] Harry and Zayn galloped back to their dressing rooms with big grins on their faces."

Although PSY has more work overseas, close sources reveal he has confirmed to perform at the inauguration ceremony for new Korean President, Park Geun Hye, on February 25.
