PSY to Perform "Gangnam Style" For Korean President

He's rubbed shoulders world leaders and even performed in front of the Barack Obama, so it's no surprise that South Korea's newly-elected president, Park Geun Hye wants a piece of the action.

Reps for the PSY confirm to IdolWow! that they have recieved a request for the "Gangnam Style" star to perform at Parks' inauguration ceremony next month.

"There are talks," says a spokesman for for the 35-year-old rapper.

A source adds that it's "just a matter of sorting out schedule conflicts" before an official announcement can be made.

Yonhanaro Communications are responsible for organising the February 25 inauguration ceremony, which will take place in Seoul, and are said to be keen for PSY to be their star performer.

"We hope to confirm the news shortly," says a company spokesman. "There are many talks happening at the moment."

Yesterday, sources exclusively confirmed to IdolWow! that PSY has been paid $400,000 USD to perform for one hour in China.
