PSY isn’t going to be a "Daddy" again, just yet. While recent reports have suggested that the 36-year-old rapper may be dropping hotly-anticipated single this month, agency YG Entertainment have announced a slight delay.
"We’re still working on 'Daddy'," a spokesman for the K-pop superstar confirms, adding that the first attempt at a music video has been canned.
"The music video was reshot two weeks ago and PSY, 36, is doing his best to deliver the best possible output."
Last month sources revealed to IdolWow! that the "Gangnam Style" YouTube star would unveil his new track at his infamous All Night Stand concert in Seoul later this month, however today’s announcement means the single has been put back to a January 2015 release date.
Although PSY released track "Hangover" with Snoop Dogg in June, "Daddy" is expected to be the big comeback that fans have long been waiting for. And with good reason! The music video is rumored to include appearances from the likes of actor Jung Woo Sung and 2NE1’s CL.
