Nice work if you can get it!

PSY has been paid a $400,000 USD to perform on a Chinese TV special, IdolWow! has learned.

As first reported on January 1, the rapper is flying to China at the end of the month to film an event.

Now it's been confirmed the rapper will appear on Dragon TV's popular event, Spring Festival Evening.

And sources say he's been given quite the pay check.

"The offer settled on $400,000," an insider reveals. "This includes all travel expenses. It sounds like a lot, but it's comparable to what other people are offering for his time at the moment.

"PSY has a lot going on in America, so to fly to China in the middle of it takes up a lot of time."

The 35-year-old will join a long list of Chinese ceebrities, including singer Wang Leehom and actress Lin Chi Ling, who he will reportedly perform "Gangnam Style" with.

A spokesperson at Dragon TV had no comment when approached by IdolWow!, but a source says: "They want it to be the best show. There was no doubt about having PSY be part of it. They had to make it happen."

PSY will fly out on January 30 to film the show two days later. The special will air on February 10.
