Bottoms up! PSY wants you to know that his single "Hangover" is not just an act. The record-breaking rapper has revealed that he is a heavy drink and "hungover half of the year”!
In a video interview with Billboard.com, the 36-year-old talked of his inspirations to the stage and how he came about producing his latest music video with hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg.
When the interviewer asks if "Hangover" was inspired by personal experience, PSY replies: "Yes. I’m a heavy drinker. So, I’m experiencing, you know, hanging over, like, I honestly can say, you know, half of the year."
Of the track, he continues: "I was hungover and I thought about hangover, so I just recorded it right away. As soon as I got that hook part I thought about Snoop, because we all know he's hanging over every day."

The joint venture track between PSY and Snoop Dogg has already hit more than 30 million views on YouTube within two days of release. PSY's original 2012 hit "Gangnam Style" has recorded over two billion views and the singer himself admits in the interview that he cannot beat that record again saying, "How can I beat a song that has two billion views?"
