December 31, 2012 at 8:00 am EDT

Turns out Pixie Lott is a huge K-pop fan. After collaborating with Big Bang's G-Dragon and T.O.P for her Japanese album last year, the British pop star has now turned her talents to Girls' Generation.

The 21-year-old confirms to IdolWow! that she's written for the group's fourth album, "I Got A Boy".

"The song was written last year," she says of the track "Baby Maybe". "I was really excited when I heard it was going on the album. It sounds great. I think their fans are going to really enjoy it."

Members Sooyoung, Yuri and Seouhyun are listed as co-writers on Lott's song, having added some of their own lyrics (as well as penning "XYZ" on the album). Adds an SM Entertainment rep: "[It's] about a girl who is in love. A bright melody."

The nine-member group have worked with big industry names on the 10-track CD, which is released on January 1, including Norwegian producers Dsign Music and SM favourites Kenzie and Yoo Young Jin.
