Two worlds have collided in the most spectacular way!
Super Junior-M last night filmed a television special with The Backstreet boys in China.
The two legendary groups came together for episodes of popular CCTV variety show Spring Festival Gala, one of the biggest shows in the country, and Liaoning TV's Chinese Lunar New Year Concert.
The annual events see some of the biggest names in showbiz come together and, thanks to the two super groups, this year's stages will be more special than ever.
And while the two acts aren't performing together, SM Entertainment uploaded a photo of the groups at rehearsals, creating much excitement online.
A rep for the Backstreet Boys tells IdolWow!: "The guys were excited to meet Super Junior-M. They know how big they, and Super Junior, are in Asia… and very familiar with their music.
"It's been a great experience while they promote"
Adds a CCTV spokesman: "We're very proud to have two of the world's biggest boy bands on our show, which will air on February 8."
As expected, Super Junior-M's schedule in China is packed. On January 19 they boys, who reeled their single Break Down last week, will hold their 2013 Super Junior-M Fan Party Break Down in Nanjing.
Super Junior-M is the unit group that aims to promote the brand in the Chinese market. Zhou Mi, 26, and Henry Lau, 23, joined five original Super Junior members to form the Mando-Pop project.
