Girls' Generation has a hit to go along with their boy!
Their fourth studio album "I Got a Boy" was only released this morning but its title single has already taken the top spot on South Korean charts Naver Music, MelOn, Olleh and Mnet.
The album also made its debut at number 18 on the US iTunes chart, just behind Mumford and Sons, Phillip Phillips and the Les Misérables motion picture soundtrack.
"We will work even harder in the future. We will try to be worthy of your love in the future as well," band member Sunny, 23, said at last month's MelOn Music Awards ceremony.
Other tracks from the album that charted across every South Korean charts, include "Dancing Queen", "Express 999", "Baby Maybe", "Talk Talk", which all landed in the top 10.
Girls' Generation will begin promotional activities for their new project this week on music programs M! Countdown, Music Bank, Music Core and SBS' The Music Trend. They will follow-up with a concert at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong on January 15.
