The 18th Busan International Film Festival opened in full swing last night and the star-studded guest list turned the red carpet into a catwalk with the glamorous gowns and dapper tuxedos.
Nam Gyuri, Kim So Yeon and Ku Hye Sun led the way in a dazzling array of dresses, looking their glamorous bests as they stepped out at the Haeundae BIFF Village in Busan, Korea, on October 3.

"This is just a wonderful celebration of film," Ku, 28, told reporters. "Everyone looks so great. I feel great. It's going to be a night to remember."
My Forgetful Friend's Nam Gyuri donned a heavy, black velvet dress that revealed her bare back in elegant form. The singer and actress, 28, wore subtle makeup to enhance her baby-soft skin.
Actress Kim So Yeon showed up in a goddess-like strapless grey dress flaunting her voluptuous figure. Her skin was perfected with a bronzed, toned complexion and natural makeup.
2PM's Taecyeon and actress Lee Yeon Hee -- romantic co-stars in upcoming film Marriage Blue -- looked like a couple walking arm-in-arm on the red carpet. The boy band singer, 24, looked suave in his tux while 25-year-old Lee's elegant bright dress which showed off her ultra-slim figure.
Star of Virgin Theory : 7 Steps To Get On The Top actress Hwang Woo Seul Hye embraced the glitz of the red carpet in a floor-length rich red strapless gown which tightly hugged her slim, toned curves.
"It's an honor for Korea to be the home of such a prestigious festival," Hwang proudly told TV cameras. "It's a 'wow' moment stepping on to this carpet."
Actress Kim Min Jung took a risk with glittery, translucent white strapless dress with ruffled front. It was a bold move for the 31-year-old, but she manages to look sophisticated while flaunting her womanly curves.
While The Queen of Office's Jeon Hye Bin wore a delicate pale yellow chiffon design and carried a hand fan and clutch as her only accessories.
Big Bang rapper, and star of The Commitment, T.O.P left his usual flamboyant outfits at home and wore a chic and understated tux in navy blue with black lapels. MBLAQ's Lee Joon -- who is currently promoting An Actor Is An Actor -- also represented male idols at the film festival.

The film festival this year brings together not just Korean idols but many famous stars of Asian film including Japanese actor Ken Watanabe and Hong Kong star Aaron Kwok.
Other standout stars on the opening night carpet included girl group Hello Venus, actor Lee Hyun Woo, actress' Kim Yoon Hye, Kim Sung Eun and Han Soo Ah. The festival continues until October 12.
