MBLAQ are coming back as a trio. The groups agency, J. Tune Entertainment announced that the members will return with their eighth single “Mirror” on June 9.
The upcoming single marks an important milestone for the group as it will be the first time they feature as a three after members Lee Joon and Thunder left the group in December last year to focus on their solo careers. It’s now up to Mir, G.O and Seungho to carry the flag and continue the band’s legacy.
“We will do our best to ensure fans do not feel the absence of the departed members,” said the MBLAQ boys in a statement. The group is reported to have put in a great deal of work in the past months in order to deliver musical integrity unaffected by members’ departures.
Former member Lee, 27, told reporters of MBLAQ’s comeback, "I read the news this morning, and I hope it turns out great. I don't know what kind of songs [they will be releasing] but I am sure they will do well."
