After a seven month hiatus, boy band MBLAQ returned with their comeback showcase yesterday in Seoul, introducing their eighth min-album, "Mirror."
But despite coming back looking better than ever at a Seoul showcase last night, June 9, member G.O revealed that he gained 22 pounds following the departure of his bandmates Lee Joon and Thunder.
He admitted that after the pair left, both he and Mir hit a low point, spending most of their time indoors playing video games. "If I didn’t focus on something, my heart would start beating faster, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I needed something I could do mindlessly," he admitted.
Before he knew it, he had gained 22 pounds (10kg). "I looked in the mirror, and I didn’t look a human being," said the 27-year-old idol star. "I thought this was not right, so I lost weight while working [on 'Mirror']."
He's now back to his fit and handsome best, thanks to watching what he eats and regular exercise, including cycling (he bought a new bike in April).
The showcase, which was held at the Ilchi Art Hall in Seoul's Cheongdam area, was the first time the boys performed on stage without two of their former members, after the pair quit last year to pursue solo careers.

The trio performed new single "Mirror" and ballad track "Tree" for the first time. Mir says the track holds special meaning, "Tree is a gift to our fans and those who worried about us. [Like a tree] We will always be here, so you can lean on us whenever you want."
