Lee Seung Gi has made the brave decision to return to the set of You’re Surrounded -- despite still suffering from an eye injury.
An SBS network spokesman confirms that the 27-year-old actor "plans to return to filming this [Friday, June 13] afternoon”, adding that he strongly wishes to return to set and continue filming.
The news comes only a day after the screen star's agency said that they would decide on the future of his participation in the drama this coming weekend.
Lee suffered a injury to his eye on Monday, June 9, when a prop sword accidentally hit his eye during filming. An immediate diagnosis at the hospital concluded that he had sustained corneal damage and intraocular haemorrhaging. His spokesman told IdolWow! that no surgery would be required but that injury was so sensitive that it required "utmost stability" during recovery.
