It seems that the infamous Girls' Generation dating ban has been lifted. Lee Seung Gi and Girl’s Generation’s YoonA have been confirmed they are in a serious relationship!
After Korean tabloid outlet Dispatch exclusively outed the couple last night, January 1, reps for both quickly stepped forward to confirm the good news, revealing Lee, 26, and YoonA, 23, have been dating since October 2013.
The original report details a "Cinderella" romance between the idols, as the pair managed to squeeze in numerous dates between both their busy schedules to enjoy a drives by Seoul's Han river, which always concluded before 1am.
While both stars live with their parents, they were helped by the fact that their houses are only 500m apart.
As well as confirming the relationship, Lee's agency, Hook Entertainment, also asked for fans of both to respect the new couple. "As they are both young and in their early stages, please look over them warmly," says his spokesman.
