MBC’s virtual marriage reality show We Got Married is about to lose one of its star couples.
The terrestrial broadcaster announced that CNBlue's Lee Jong Hyun and actress Gong Seung Yeon have decided to depart from the popular series.
“Lee Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon are stepping down from the show," says an MBC spokesperson. "We're currently working out the precise exit date. The final filming has not commenced yet."
The CNBlue rocker, 25, and the Heard It Through the Grapevine actress, 22, joined the cast in March earlier this year and enjoyed five months of heart-warming popularity from audiences before deciding to call it quits.
So far a reason for heir exit has not been declared and even MBC reps say they do not know why the virtual celeb couple have decided to withdraw from the show.
