Get ready for a new onscreen power couple.

Lee Jin Wook and Jo Yoon Hee have been cast to take lead roles in the forthcoming drama series, Nine.

The tvN drama is being produced by the winning team behind Queen in Hyun's Man and will begin shooting on January 9.

Nine will be a fantasy romance series that follows TV anchor Park Sun Woo, played by Lee, who is able to travel 20 years back in to the past. Working alongside as a junior journalist will be Jo.

The show is expected to change the time travel concept viewers have been use to in other series. For starters? You can only go back in time nine times.

Producer Kim Young Kyu says: "Lee Jin Wook and Jo Yoon Hee have already shown their passion for the piece and their characters. Their acting and teamwork will add energy to the drama.

"We believe a new drama that will outdo Queen In Hyun's Man will be born with the collaboration of great actors and popular producers."

The pairing of Lee and Jo in a series is sure to be a hit with fans. Last year Lee's role in I Need a Romance 2012 won him a legion of new fans, and Jo's role in KBS2's Unexpected You earned her the title of 'queen of dramas'.

Nine will star airing after Flower Boy Next Door concludes in March.
