Hollywood cannot get enough of Lee Byung Hun. As he awaits the July release of his latest blockbuster, Terminator Genisys, the 44-year-old Korean screen star has been confirmed to join the cast of The Magnificent Seven.

His agency BH Entertainment confirm that Lee will join Hollywood A-listers Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke and Denzel Washington in an upcoming remake of the 1960's original feature film of the same title, this time directed by Antoine Fuqua. It's due to start filming later this year.

Actor Jason Momoa - who is due to play Aquaman in Justice League - could also play one of the six gunslingers.

The film's plot develops when a woman hires a disparate group of assassins to protect her village from raiding bandits, and Lee will play the role Billy Rocks. The only other information BH Entertainment revealed was that, "Lee Byung Hun's character is good with his hands and is bound to a slave contract."
