The road manager who was driving the vehicle carrying girl group Ladies’ Code when it crashed killing members EunB and RiSe, has been arrested and faces charges.

The prosecution unit from the district of Suwon revealed yesterday, November 12, that the group's road manager Mr. Park, 26, had been arrested and faced involuntary manslaughter charges for fatalities caused by neglectful driving.

The accident took place on September 3 killing two members — Kwon Rise, 23; and EunB, 22; while other members and passengers, including Park, received varying degrees of injuries.

After investigation, prosecution has deemed that Park was speeding over at 135.7km/h in a maximum 100km/h speed zone. As the road conditions were wet, he should have been traveling at a speed 20% lower than the limit.

A Polaris Entertainment rep says, "It is true that the manager who was driving Ladies' Code during the accident was arrested and charged. Investigations are ongoing, and we believe that a custody investigation was chosen for this investigation due to the importance of the case. It is unfortunate and upsetting that this is the situation."

"Since the investigation is not yet done it is hard for us to make a formal statement on anything. We don't know when reports about the investigation will come out, but as this is someone close who we've worked with, someone like a family member, our hearts [at Polaris Entertainment] are in pain."

The case continues.
