Idols unite in China! Former EXO-M Kris and ex-Super Junior member Han Geng are confirmed to star in the Chinese film Xiao You Qiao Mu together.

A rep for the movie project announced today, August 12, that Kris -- known in China as Wi Yi Fan  -- will play one of the three male leads. He joins Korean actor Joo Won, 26, riding high on the success of the television medical drama Good Doctor, and Han Geng, 30, who has already begun filming. The 23-year-old former EXO star is set to begin work on the movie later this month.

The production is a Korean and Chinese collaboration co-produced by China Film and Yuehua Entertainment and is a melodrama directed by Jo Jin Gyu of Man on the Edge and My Wife is a Gangster fame. The story is based on a popular internet novel that tells the love story involving three men and a single woman.

Meanwhile, Kris's lawsuit with SM Entertainment to terminate his contract is still ongoing. Interestingly, Han Geng also filed suit against the agency citing his 13-year agreement with them was unlawful and overly restrictive. After falling sick to a kidney illness, the former Super Junior-M leader was officially released from his SM obligations in 2011. He has since been enjoying solo success and an acting career in China.
