No major split would be complete without a dramatic makeover. And former EXO member Kris Wu has done exactly that as he continues to work on his post-SM Entertainment career.
In a recent post on Chinese social network Weibo, the 25-year-old former boy band star updated fans on his latest look and shared never before seen BEARDED photos of himself.
The former boy band idol -- real name Yifan Wu -- is seen with a deep tan and sporting an almost military-style buzz cut joined perfectly to a distinct beard that frames his entire jaw line, proving his once pretty boy band image is now but a mere figment of the past.
The new look was met with generally comic and unfavorable sentiment in Korean media with responses from former fans on social media like, “Oh my god he’s so funny he should have been a comedian,” and, “Dear lord he’s so ugly, how was he ever in EXO?”
But it's also been a hit with his loyal supporters, who stuck by the singer following his May 2014 departure from the idol group. One female fan wrote, "Wow, he's become a real man now. Looks so handsome!"
