It was fun while it lasted.

KBS has confirmed that the curtains are closing for its much-loved talk show Win Win later this month.

Although the show had been pulling in healthy audience figures of 10% and above, a spokesman for the TV network says the decision has been made to film the final episode on January 10.

A rep for host Kim Seung Woo, 43, says: "It's true. He will move on and focus on his acting, however there are still further details to be discussed."

After three years on air, Win Win has had a long line up of celebrity MCs join its stage, including Girls' Generation's Taeyeon and Yoona, 2Pm, 2AM, Bi Rain and the Wonder Girls.

Producers are now in talks to bring back popular guest co-hosts Lee Ki-kwang from B2sT, comedian Kim Shin Young and actors Kim Sun-soo and Jung Jae-Young. "The episode will feature many of the previous cast members reminiscing over the show's history and be a nice ending to the series," the network rep adds.

Kim, who has won several awards for his hosting skills on the series, admits that the show is a big part of his life. "When [I started], my close friends thought it was about time I did a variety program," he said in an interview. "After recording the first show, I went to the editing room at 3am. That is the kind of determination that I have for the show and I'm always willing to learn more. I work hard because I don't want to disappoint the people around me."
